there’s still one thing I don’t understand.

“Payful” is not a word I can find in my dictionary. What does it mean exactly? Or have you just coined a new word?

I’m well aware of the problems arising from the fossil records. I tend to agree with you that the evidence so far seems to have posed a serious challenge to old-school Darwinism.

The late Steven Jay Gould, among others, pointed out that Darwin’s theory of evolution cannot account for the order and complexity of our biosphere. So the question is: Can we go beyond Darwin by postulating the existence of some other order generating principles?

A few years ago, I’ve written a short paper about the problems with Darwinism in which I discussed briefly Lynn Margulis’ theory of “symbiosis” and Stuart Kauffman’s notion of “emergent order” as alternatives to the Darwinian doctrine of natural selection and random variation.

But so far, I still can’t figure out how we can possibily subject these alternative explanations to scientific scrutiny.
