简评奥巴马就职演讲中掌声最多的八段话

今天有机会重温昨天奥巴马总统就职的演讲。
发觉听众给予最大掌声的句子有八处。
个人认为小奥的强项是他的口才，真正获得胜选的原因是前任总统的劣绩。
他的演讲无疑是十分动人的，有没有特别流芳百代的语句，却颇难断；他的执政才华能否超越前人，更是有待时间考验。
请留意，“评语”纯是笔者的管见，未必精准，后人当有定论。
1、"Today I say to you that the challenges we face are real. They are serious and they are many. They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But know this, America - they will be met. "
（今天我要告诉各位，我们面临的挑战是真的，挑战非常严重，而且繁多。它们不容易面对，也不可能在短期间内解决。但是美国知道：这些挑战将获得解决。）
评语： 这是美国民众最想得到的一颗定心丸。
2、"The time has come to reaffirm our enduring spirit; to choose our better history; to carry forward that precious gift, that noble idea, passed on from generation to generation: the God-given promise that all are equal, all are free, and all deserve a chance to pursue their full measure of happiness. "
（重申我们长久不渝精神的时刻到来了，我们要选择更好的历史，要实践那种代代传承下来的珍贵遗产与高贵的理念，那种上帝赐予的承诺：那就是人人平等，人人自由，人人都享有追求完整无缺幸福的机会。）
评语： 这是任何美国领袖都必须拿出来策励人们自豪感的体面话。
3、"Starting today, we must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and begin again the work of remaking America. "
（从今天开始，我们必须振作起来、抖掉灰尘，重新开始再造美国的事业。）
评语： 这是面对困境的老生常谈。
4、"The success of our economy has always depended not just on the size of our Gross Domestic Product, but on the reach of our prosperity; on our ability to extend opportunity to every willing heart - not out of charity, but because it is the surest route to our common good."
（我国经济成功的依据，不只靠国内生产毛额的规模，而是我国繁荣所影响的领域，以及我们将机会伸延到每个愿意努力的人群心里；这并非出自施舍，倒因为它是达成我们共同利益的最准确途径。）
评语： 这不外是老王卖瓜的说辞。
5、"And so to all other peoples and governments who are watching today, from the grandest capitals to the small village where my father was born: know that America is a friend of each nation and every man, woman, and child who seeks a future of peace and dignity, and that we are ready to lead once more. "
（因此，我要告诉今日在观看这场典礼的其他民族和政府，从最宏伟的都城到家父出生的小村庄，请你们了解：每一个一个国家，每一个男人、女人、和孩子，只要你们追求一个和平且有尊严的未来，美国是你们的朋友，我们淮备再次带领大家。）
评语： 这是讲给外国人听的门面话。
6、"We will not apologize for our way of life, nor will we waver in its defense, and for those who seek to advance their aims by inducing terror and slaughtering innocents, we say to you now that our spirit is stronger and cannot be broken; you cannot outlast us, and we will defeat you. "
（我们不会为我们的生活方式去道歉，也不会动摇我们保护它的决心；对那些想要藉由恐怖与杀害无辜的手段以达到图谋的人，我们现在告诉你，我们的精神强过你们，无法摧毁，你们活不过我们，我们必定会打败你们。）
评语： 这是为自己壮胆的喊话。
7、"To those leaders around the globe who seek to sow conflict, or blame their society's ills on the West - know that your people will judge you on what you can build, not what you destroy."
（那些想散播冲突或将自己社会的问题怪罪於西方的各地领袖们，你们必须知道，你的国民要判断你的是你们有何建立，不是你有何毁坏。）
评语： 这是为西方社会，特别是为 Wall Street，护短的托词。
8、"This is the meaning of our liberty and our creed - why men and women and children of every race and every faith can join in celebration across this magnificent mall, and why a man whose father less than sixty years ago might not have been served at a local restaurant can now stand before you to take a most sacred oath."
（这是我们自由和信仰的真谛- 那正是不同种族和信仰的男女老幼能在这个广场上共同庆祝的道理，也正是一个人的父亲在不到六十年前还未必能进入当地饭馆用餐、现在却能站在你们面前进行最神圣宣誓的因由。）
评语： 这是见证美国反种族歧视成就的素描，应是历任总统就职演讲辞最具历史意义的一段真话。
