我的经理，50出头，共和党的支持者。我跟他说了石油的问题后，给我写了个Email。
We Americans see it this way;
If your neighbor is beating his children, what do you do?
In 1941, we were making a lot of money selling oil to the Empire of Japan. We thought it was wrong that the oil was then used to kill Chinese. So we stopped selling the oil, this resulted in the attack on our navy in Pearl Harbor, which cost us the lives of 2,600 men and women. My guess is that the person who created this believes that we should have kept selling the oil and put cotton in our ears, so that we couldn't hear the cries of the Chinese people.
Do you hear the cries of the people of Iraq?
