I’ve never been a big fan of Michael Moore. I was just trying to make the point that if the alleged ties between the Bush’s and the bin Laden’s were purely fabricated out of his own imagination, he would have long been accused by the Bush administration of libel. Instead, all the GOP (Republicans) could do was to meddle with the release of the film and threw huge sums of money launching a propaganda campaign against him.

Dubya (Bush) has never been honest with the American people even since the first day he was in office. Let me cite a couple of passages from the articles I read recently about the dismal “anti-terrorist campaign” in Iraq:

“As we’ve seen with the treatment of the Downing Street Memo, (which was reluctantly reported five weeks after it appeared in the British press) the air-tight American media ignores any story that doesn’t embrace their collective support for the war. The prospect that the US military is using “universally reviled” weapons runs counter to the media-generated narrative that the war was motivated by humanitarian concerns (to topple a brutal dictator) as well as to eliminate the elusive WMDs. We can now say with certainty that the only WMDs in Iraq were those that were introduced by foreign invaders from the US who used them to incinerate the indigenous people who dared to resist.”

“Defense Minister, Adam Ingram, admitted that the US had misled the British high command about the use of napalm, but he would not comment on the extent of the cover up. The use of firebombs puts the US in breach of the 1980 Convention on Certain Chemical Weapons (CCW) and is a violation the Geneva Protocol against the use of white phosphorous, “since its use causes indiscriminate and extreme injuries especially when deployed in an urban area.””

“The US also used napalm in the siege of Falluja as was reported in the UK Mirror (“Falluja Napalmed”, 11-28-04) The Mirror said, “President George Bush has sanctioned the use of napalm, a deadly cocktail of polystyrene and jet-fuel banned by the United Nations in 1980, will stun the world…. Reports claim that innocent civilians have died in napalm attacks, which turn victims into human fireballs as the gel bonds flames to flesh…Since the American assault on Falluja there have been reports of ‘melted’ corpse, which appeared to have napalm injuries.””

“Dr. Khalid ash-Shaykhli, who was the head of the Iraqi Ministry of Health in Falluja, reported to Al Jazeera (and the Washington Post, although it was never reported) that “research, prepared by his medical team, prove that the US forces used internationally prohibited substances, including mustard gas, nerve gas, and other burning chemicals in their attacks on the war-torn city.””

“So far, none of this has appeared in any American media, nor have they reported that the United Nations has been rebuffed twice by the Defense Dept. in its call for an independent investigation into what really took place in Falluja. The US simply waves away the international body as insignificant while the media conveniently omits it from their coverage.”

“For instance, on November 6, 2004, as a prelude to its invasion of Fallujah, the U.S. military razed Nazal Emergency Hospital, the city's only healthcare facility for trauma victims. U.S. forces also detained doctors and patients, and prevented any surgeons from entering the besieged city. At Fallujah General Hospital, U.S. forces closed off all access roads and surrounded the hospital with troops and vehicles, preventing patients from getting medical care.”

“Additionally, U.S. snipers targeted civilian ambulances and medical clinics, and intentionally prevented physicians from entering hospitals to treat patients. U.S. troops also prohibited the delivery of necessary medicines or supplies into Fallujah. Similar incidences occurred during the U.S. military's recent offensive in Al Qa'im. Not only do these actions constitute gross violations of the Fourth Geneva Convention, they also constitute war crimes under Article 8 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.”

The passages above are taken from articles which appear on a left-leaning liberal website called “Dissident Voice” (www.dissidentvoice.org), but hey, don’t mistaken me for a liberal or a leftist. Most of the articles I read are from conservative or right-wing libertarian magazines and websites such as The American Conservative ( www.amconmag.com) and www.lewrockwell.com. If you’re interested in further information on Dubya’s lies and deceptions, I can give you links to hundreds of others articles on the subject.
