This book was written by an US woman, Linda Bond, who was funded by the US foreign study program and had a interesting long journey in the central Asia during the period of the US led war against terrorists in Afghanistan, where no one was dare to go and that was why she was funded. The book was published in 2004, with a not biased view of cultures and reality of democracy in the countries of central Asia.
