They all said right, keep the disk and keep hope!
It's hard to believe a hard disk will be totally destroyed with all its datas physically just by “virus and many times restart”, unless there is also a fire companied. I guess there is some trouble for the computer to recognize the hard disk, It may possibly be the problem of I/O controller or something like that.
Sorry, I am not an expert in PC who can afford further suggestions.
