(you can create a bootable floppy from any pc) to boot up the system, if the floppy can't boot it up the system then it obivously tells you that I/O controller failed, in other words your hard disk may still readble just the card failure makes it impossible to read. (eye blind). If the floppy can boot the system up, try to read the hard disk thru DOS mode if you can read, then copy the data rightway to the other floppy disks.(meaning: system files in the hard disk went bad but the other data are fine).If the I/O card failed, you need to buy a new computer because in most cases the card is integrated with motherboard. When you have a new pc, just try to set 2 partition and hook the old hard disk and see if you can read. Good luck!|
