divided from the very beginning. I missed that part of history. Anyway, in response to you question, my humble understanding is this: according to Newton’s third law, the attractive force is inversely related to the distance of two objects and since China has bigger mass than the South Korea does, hence the North Korea is poor. But it will be getting better despite the delay of inertia.
