12%—20%的增长率 is monstrous in terms of economics.
The problem of China's economy is not the growth rate itself. It's the corruption and waste that suck the major part of the wealth created by economy growth. Therefore, the people's wealth is not proportional to the growth rate. Only high growth rate could prevent the living standards of ordinary people from falling. That's the dilemma faced by the CCP: If they slow down the economy, then there would be a social crisis. If they keep going, then the bubble may burst. Either way, they are doomed.
Only God can save China but apparently, he has deserted China for centuries. I see no reason why He should intervene now.
