As you guys might know, there is a manpower shortage in this club. In particular, we lack good editors whilst XHC boasts loads of them, though they do not have writers as good as ours. I have been thinking about this all along and believe we should share the burden with the readers. In other words, loads of work can be done not by us, but by volunteers.
Although 2u2m is a good banzhu, but unfortunately, he is too busy as he is also a tech-lord. So I have a mixed feeling about his new assignment. I do hope we can put 斑竹民选 into practice. That is, people come out to volunteer, then the Board of Directors appoint the person who has won the highest votes. But the elected banzhu should follow the principle of neutrality, never to get carried away by his own political stand. In addition, he must follow the principles set up by 2u2m:
1。分流：罕见为政治论坛，主发政治评论，其他议题，文艺去小径，坛务和吵架去医院，淫人黄货去驴镇。这里我理解，小径现在比较冷清，文艺作品发此坛可以占点此处人气，我可以考虑挂一天再移贴。吵架贴定义为不论及对方的观点，而是在对方人品身份智力和诚信程度上做文章的贴子，会被移至众议院。黄贴（有暴露但非X级）一般点击颇高，我会立马就移驴鸣镇。
2。导读：由我全部承包，以我品味为主，我会尽量公平，有不恰当的欢迎批评指正，自己觉得好贴也请推荐和毛遂自荐。我的标准是少于500字一般不提（鼓励长文），转贴少提（鼓励原创），新人好文优先，双方辩论（观点之争），一方上导，另一方也有优先上导权，吵架贴移去医院，当然不会上导。
3。其他斑竹在此坛对必删贴有删贴移贴权。
In my view, if we want to keep our high standards, these rules must be followed. Otherwise, this place might gradually degrade into another gossip corner.
Needless to say, the Board of Directors would not only have the final say about banzhu assignment but also have the power to dismiss elected banzhu if his job proves not satisfying.
How do you guys feel about it? I do hope that the running of this forum can be gradually shifted to volunteers’ shoulders so that the Board of Directors can be freed from it.
