1) For continuing to do my beloved research, which is quite
abstruse. I still have as much freedom as I had before in
terms of attending interesting international activities.
I have some money now at my disposal to organize reasonably
sized international conferences in China, for which I gain
certain credits, and for which I make more close friends in
my field, and not the least, to have my own little "international-
club" formed in my own profession.
2) I like Chinese food the best, genuine Chinese, not
Americanized.
3) I am a womanizer, making Chinese girl friends is my long
suit. In this regard, I am different from Jia Ren, who likes
biting only asses of white girls. Indeed each girl friend
I made is an independent reason for me to be in China!
4) I like writing popular stuff to help propagating my
science, now I am actually doing it in Chinese with limited
success. For the first time, I slightly go beyond my
profession.
5) There are too many reasons to list, but I leave to others
to do.

There are also reasons for not staying in China, I prefer
not writing about them this time.
