In his presence, I am too nervous to say anything:))

Anyway, 平 is yin ping, yang ping (tone 1 and 2)

仄 is shang, qu (3 and 4), plus ru sheng.

Now the trouble is that ru sheng is lost in putong hua and in most northern dialects. Only the dialects
of a few southern provinces still have it.

If you are northerner, then you are just like me, not knowing how to determine whether a character
is of ru sheng or not. If you are a southerner, then perhaps you still have some hope:))
