To tell you the truth, I am not concerned about whether people like me or not, or whether people regard me as a 挺好的老头. Had I done, I would never have entered 那一段黑暗的肠道 and dwelled there happily ever since.
It appears that you are too young and too inexperienced to understand me at all. For one thing, you can never separate the author and his works. If his works upset you, then you regard him as a villain or at least a scoundrel. If his works please you, then you believe him to be a saint or hero. If you used to be my fan, you would have read my ridicules at this kind of immature attitude. But of course it is only natural. Perhaps when you reach my age, you will finally understand me.
