The government involvement of economy will ony result market distortion and getting closer to socialism/communism.
I don't like Mitt Romney either because his plan is even more like an idiot. Tax cut will not lead to more investment, nor more jobs. This has been proved for the last 10 years. The deducted tax money went to foreign countries, government bonds, and housing bubles. The only thing driving investor to put money in a company is the return of investment, not the tax cutting.
We always forget the essential jobs of government and central bank:
1) for governemnt, enforce rule of "fair play"
2) for central bank, keep inflation low
So the most important job for the new president: fix the budget, fix the defics. Because the debt is the result of last tax cut, increase tax is more resonable. And remember in future, never try to fix economy problems by tax cutting.
