《芦区》的宗教之战是已经移到《奸坛》去了，观看“世界杯”赛之余，我也翻了翻《圣经》。才看了几行，感到什么地方有些不对劲，还以为是眼花，做了一遍眼保健操重新再看，还是不对劲。寻思了一下，想求教《芦区》各位精英：上帝开创天地时，动物是吃素的吗？
下面摘录的是《创世纪》的第30节，（电子版本Bible, King James. Genesis, from The holy Bible, King James version Electronic Text Center, University of Virginia Library）
30: And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
师爷按：
beast一词，根据《COD》的解释是：Animal,quadruped as dist from birds, man,insects,etc.
herb一词，根据《COD》的解释是：Plant whosestem is not woody or persistent but dies down after flowering.
难道，上帝开创天地之时，狮、虎、豹、狼......等beast of the earth是食green herb为生的吗？
且不说，还有些creepeth upon the earth 例如鳄鱼和Komodo Dragon (属于蜥蜴亚目Sauria，巨蜥科Varanidae)等爬虫不仅食肉，而且食人呢! 即使以fowl of the air 来说，鹰、鹫......等猛禽就都不是以green herb为食的。
很遗憾，《圣经》的德译本(German Luther)中的动物也是吃素的：
1:30 und allem Getier auf Erden und allen Vögeln unter dem Himmel und allem Gewürm, das da lebt auf Erden, daß sie allerlei grünes Kraut essen. Und es geschah also.
