谢谢推荐A. N. Whitehead 的大作。前天，我已经从图书馆里借得他的《Science and the Modern World》. 1997 paperback, Free Press (Simon & Schuster)。连续看了两天，真是满篇珠玑。另外，还借到一本他的语录。载录一些，与君共享：
What is morality in any given time or place? It is what the majority then and there happen to like, and immorality is what they dislike.
上面这一条是常识。
An enormous part of our mature experience cannot not be expressed in words.
