但是零式对付美国野猫时,所有的指数都在零式,但是野猫的飞行员防护要好,而零式几乎没有保护。
瓜岛之战时,有一美军飞行员被零式从后面攻击,但子弹没打穿后座甲板,而美军的子弹一般都能打死打伤日军飞行员。
如同米格走廊一样,米格在4000以上称王,佩刀当然就不去4000应战,难道那不公平吗?

Wildcat vs. Zero (for all those without problems)
What benefits do the Zero's hold over the Wildcats? From what I've experienced the Wildcats turn tighter, take more hits, and have higher top speed. I've never had problems against Zero's but when I use Zero's against Wildcats my planes fall outa the air like nats.
Now this isn't some nub thing of mine; I've played extensively and have hosted many a game (SandchezTheDirty). I've won as Japan; and I've won as United States.
HOWEVER, i'm beginning to think that the balance is spread somewhere else. Although i havent looked at it too hard maybe the other planes are tweaked this way or that for each side. I'm starting this thread to discuss the balance really in ALL air units: with focus on the Zero's and the Wildcats.
