i got lucky a couple of weeks ago on a quiet Sunday morning 9:20am walking along Raritan canal. A stranger pull out a gun at me. I got away by jumping into the water and swim across to safety... The police force of the nearby city: Trenton is not without its own problems of internal fractions.... let alone crack down on gangsters and drug dealers... Since then, i started reading local newspapers. Crimes are rampant in US inner cities. I laughed at a blogger's comment that US military should be taking over Trenton, like cities in Iraq. Princeton is not far from where i work but rent is relatively expensive plus i don't like driving and pay for high gas price either.
If I were you, I'd learn French and move to Montreal.
