It is all in the context.

There is a difference between private conversation and public discourse. The presidential campaign is in full swing now and they say nasty things about each other on and off the debate all over the place.

As for internet and this forum, it is a very hostile environment. I am sure we were all very polite when we started, but at some point, one just decides to be direct and to the point.

I appreciate what you are doing here and I apologize if I inadvertently offended you with my bluntness.
