There is always something there you did not plan ahead.Therefore the software has to be modified. the modifications sometime are easy and sometime very hard,especially involving the change in method of image catching.
we do use offline automatic processing of data that has been mounted for 10 years, believe or not. Easy to collecting data & hard to process. On-line display of traces and some key data is just for mornitoring the experiemntal status. We don't write device drivers now that was done in DOS days.
I doubt the 实时性 of windows, just have no gut on it. In assembly language, I know how to interrupt the processor and in windows, it is just out of my mind, who knows what windows's doing, or perhaps I don't have any knowledge of windows operating system in general. Too old to learn.
