I am not sure how serious you are in your analysis, but it reads like [The Da Vinci Code].
There is nothing strange about the Bible. The Old and New Testaments are simply different books. Moreover, each individual book in the two Testaments was written by different people and over a long time span. If you put [Romance of Three Kingdoms] and [Dreams of the Red Chamber] together, you will have the same effect.
Speaking of the Old Testament, it is a socially, if not historically, accurate portray of their respective time. That was how they conducted wars in those days. Just read up on the Punic war and how Carthage met its final fate.
Religions are grounded more in mythology than history. Their success and spread depends more on whether they address people’s psychological needs than on whether they can pass intellectual analysis.
