I'm a big skating fan and followed almost every skating event. Let me tell you something, Even back in 1998, there were far more Kwan's fans than Lipinsky's fans (spelling?). I don't know what you mean by "冬奥会关颖珊输了之后，主流媒体又是怎么报道的". The media reported what is there to report, that she lost and it wasn't her best performance. If you are hinting that the media was overjoyed by Kwan's loss, you were wrong big time. In fact, you could read between the lines that they wanted Kwan to win. Some people, even today, are still calling Lipinsky's winning contravercial. If you follows the skating events like I do, you'll know that the Media just loves Michelle. They like to talk about how she made history blah blah blan. In fact, There were a lot of critisms for Lipinsky because 1. although technically she was very strong, there is still room for improvement artistically. People expects maturity at senior level event and she was way too young. 2. She switched to professional right after Olympic, which looks like that she's all about money, which in turn make people love Kwan even more because she was there for the sport. If you ask young skator today who is their idol, 99.9% will say Michelle Kwan, not Tara Lipinksy, not Sara Hughs.
