From the above quotation of your explanation,
I am convinced that your original question is not
"What means 'making momey'?" although it's
still grammatically right while expressing
a totally different meaning from the original
question you wanted to ask:
"What does "making momey' mean?"
In addition, I believe that your original question
IS concerning the meaning of "making momey".
As it's a typo, you tried to point it out
by questioning.
Thank you for pointing it to me that
the sentence itself is not logically wrong.
I think you're right.
So, I should say that your sentence is
grammatically right, but its meaning is
wrong as it's not logically in agreement
with your thinking.
