Frankly speaking, the web has opened my eyes. Thanks to it, I started to realize that the stupidity of the Chinese "intellectuals" is not only prevalent and overwhelming, but also unique and unsurpassable. The seriousness of this problem can never be exaggerated. The language that can be used to describe the Chinese stupidity sufficiently has yet to be invented.
More than three years ago, I met Lao Ma on the web. At that time, I thought he represented the limit of stupidity that could be approached but never be reached.
But I was wrong. The professor emerged on the stage, demonstrating to the public with tremendous pride and unprecedented eloquence that he did not even have the minimal ability to sort out his chaotic thoughts and define some basic concepts. He could not even speak coherently, even though the topic might be as simple as baby talk.
Compared to the philosopher, however, the professor was nothing. At first she reminded me of the famous role in Dreams in the Red Chambers, Sha Da Jie (Foolish Girl). Then someone suggested that she was an old lady from the Household Committee (Ju Wei Hui). That was more like it, given her age. Still, it is purely impossible to describe the spectacles she exhibited. I never dreamed that a brain could be like a miraculous switchboard in which all the nerves are connected in wrong places.
Then Anhunqu outdid everyone. He was so vane that he bragged about his wealth. By doing so, he invited people to see the most astonishing double personalities online: the bravest anti-Communist fighter turned out to be a collaborator who did some dirty business with the Chinese authorities so as to become a millionaire after the June 4 massacre!
Yet, this was by no means the peak, as Gao Han beat everyone. He has accomplished three great missions since he came to this BBS site:
First, he has shown to the public that the so-called "pre-democracy movement" is actually a dirty business, involving quarrelling with any critic using the foulest language. Thus, he has managed to turn the concept of "democracy" into something really repulsive and disgusting in the by-standers' eyes.
Second, he has shown to the public that he is a dinosaur that had escaped from the ancient times to the modern world, having completely lost touch with reality. An obsolete revolutionary, he knows nothing about modern society but is tremendously proud of his knowledge of Mao's strategies and tactics. By showing off his only "knowledge", however, he has proven to the public that he is a die-hard Maoist and the difference between him and the current regime is that he is more reactionary and dangerous. I remember Wacky used to be sympathetic with him, but even he now realizes that Gao was jailed because his political opinions were even more radical than the modern Communists.
Last but not the least, Gao, as a politician with a real name, has shown that he is only too willing to fight with anonymous ghosts. More than once, he has been so brave as to competing with his opponents to show to the public that he is most gifted in swearing with the foulest language. Because his mouth is unbelievably filthy, his right to post up posters has been deprived by the web masters a few times. How a "democratic" politician could sink so low is really a modern miracle.
Even so, he is still not happy with the fame he has earned. Not only did he once post up a piece entitled "Farewell Ludi (the clean version)" to advertise his dirty mouth, but he has also posted up a solemn "Declaration of Quarrelling", in case nobody fails to know that he is the truly badmouthed politician whose holy cause is to curse people around instead of serving them.
Can you think of someone more idiotic than him? The Pacific Ocean is deep, but it has got a bottom whilst the stupidity of the Chinese is really, really bottomless.
But even Gao is not the champion. Who is more stupid than him then? I myself! How could I be so stupid as to write for this idiot-club for more than three years? What did I expect from those idiots? Appreciation? How could I lose my temper with such idiots more than once? Unbelievable! Unthinkable! I must be the worst among those most outstanding and splendid idiots concentrated in this damn place.
