最近几年，美国常有学区(school district) 推行学校不应该教授进化论。应该教授创造论。归根到底，美国人还未搞清楚政教分离的真义。

2 School Boards Push on Against Evolution

A school district in Pennsylvania and another in Georgia have pressed ahead with their challenges to the teaching of evolution in their public schools.
The school board in Dover, Pa., south of Harrisburg, had an administrator read a one-minute statement to ninth graders in biology class yesterday saying evolution is not fact and offering a different approach called "intelligent design."

In Georgia, the Cobb County school board, which was ordered by a federal judge last week to remove from textbooks a sticker that says evolution is "a theory, not a fact" has voted to appeal.
Schools in Cobb County, a suburb of Atlanta, adopted the stickers in 2002, along with textbooks that offered a thorough treatment of evolution. The stickers do not mention creationism or religion, but the judge, Clarence Cooper, ruled that an informed, reasonable person would interpret them as conveying an endorsement of religion.
The school board voted 5 to 2 on Monday to appeal.
