Reading the posters downstairs involving you, I do not know whether to laugh or to cry. Once I said to Jia Ren, to some people, there is no way going back. Once you offend them, there is absolutely no way to undo it. So I suggested he should leave things as they were. Trying to amend them could only cause more damages.

This is particularly true with those who are mentally traumatized by the Party. One of the wonders our beloved Party created is that it turned a considerable portion of the people into psychos. It is very sad that today, the so-called “counter communism” (fan gong) has largely become a psychiatric phenomenon, alas.

You know what crimes you have committed, girl? Being my friend is already enough for you to become “the people’s enemy”. Yet, you tried to defend me when you were demanded to draw a clear line from me! By doing so, you refused the last chance to redeem your crimes. In other words, you have burned the bridge behind you. Yet, you still dreamed that it might be possible to resume a friendly (or at least a non-hostile) relationship with some diehard revolutionary comrades!

How naïve you have been!

Well, this is the price you have to pay. You see, it’s not so easy to be the niece of the most hated man online. Besides, how can Uncle blame you for your naivety?

But do take my advice please: When you are wrongly accused, do not even try to clarify the situation. It does not matter whether you have said those words or not. What matters is that it gives those comrades an excuse to attack you. Nobody cares about the truth of such triviality. That’s why those comrades are so good at inventing others’ quotations. If you read the masterpiece “How many Ludis are there” (“ludi shi yi ge, shi liang ge?” ), you will find there are quite a few quotations which were supposed to be mine but I had never said them at all. Still, I never argued, because it was not worth it.

Listen to me, girl. Get away from this place and do not come back. You have your career to look after. The brilliant future is just ahead of you. Go embrace it. Quit this damn place which is for the exclusive use of losers including Uncle. You were not born to talk nonsense to those badly traumatized people who take revenges to anyone they could get hold of. . Since they cannot exact revenge on the all-too-powerful Party, they have to find comfort in insulting powerless substitutes so as to vent their grievance. This is not only understandable, but also forgivable and pitiable.

Let me repeat: although in general, people can live for 70-80 years, the most critical period lasts for only a few years. If you mess it up like Uncle, then you will end up to be a loser like Uncle. So go straight ahead. Don’t look left or right, you will melt into the deep blue sky as Duqiu Dongren did:))
