I don’t believe there is any need to delete Cao An Jushi’s posters.
For one thing, Anhunqu’s accusation does not stand. If those posters are deleted because they “revealed people’s real identities”, then it means that Banzhu has accepted what Cao’ said is true and has agreed that the “Cricket” is really a CCP spy. That would be ridiculous.
For another, this would be used by those people as an excuse to slander or libel this forum as “a commie base”, as they have already done so. They would say: “Look, by deleting the posters, those commie spies tried to shelter and protect their comrades!”
Thirdly, if you delete Cao’s posters, you would have to delete Youling’s because his posters also “revealed” my “real identity” by accusing me of being a “spy ring”. That would make him even crazier, completely losing her senses. And I am already worried about his mental health.
Of course the second point listed above is not important. The important thing is that there is no rule that forbids people making false accusations. Of course, both Youling and Cao have broken the American law by libelling law-abiding citizens and thus defaming them and endangering their safety and health. But if the American law is to be taken as the rules of this forum, then you would have to delete those posters that have libelled Prof Ding Zilin, Ms Zhao Yan, and Ms Zhang Chunru and so forth.
So I do not think there is any justification for such actions.
When the first “spy-craze” hit this forum last year, I was extremely furious and protested even more vigorously than the victim himself. But now the situation is different as everyone is being turned into a spy. From the depth of my heart, I welcome this change. The more people become victims, the better. Can’t you see? The only approach to stop this anti-commie hysteria is to let it go to the extreme in order for everyone to see how mad and senseless hatred could drive people. It is the only way to put an end to this sickening farce once and for all.
