too easy to answer your question.
there is a old man who told me: after comminist came, he ran to hongkong. but came back to shanghai very soon.
he told me at 1950's, just "jin-lin-dong-road" one street in shanghai can beat whole hongkong.
hongkong was way behide shanghai at that time.
but untill 1970's, hongkong still much advance than taiwan, TAIBEI. the girls in TAIBEI all wish marry a hongkong guy. no TAIBEI girl wish marry a guy in south taiwan.
south taiwan were too much behide. way too much.
but, the people in south taiwan think they are so much great after japaness' occupation. they are so proud about japaness' occupation which improved so much for their living condition. they still proud about this nowdays.
now you can imagine what kind of life they had before japaness occupied.
and, this not very long time ago.

看到洪哲胜又浮出水面大言不惭，不免有一些感想。
闹“台独”的台南籍（台美）人士的生平回忆，以前专门看过几十种，相信两海川的大陆（裔）人里少有若兄弟这样专门用心。加之现实中的对台籍台湾人的接触，也就打算于近期谈谈对台南籍（台美）人好政治这口的这批人的感想和他们的RPWT。
全文将于近期写完并发出。
先提出道三问的思考题给大陆（裔）人：
为什么闹“台独”的人士（指骨干）大多是台湾南部人？而为什么当年闹“共产”最欢的大陆人是长江中上游人（指骨干）？其中体现的社会问题是什么？
