Sorry you did not get it. I was not joking at all. Even Suibian, though clever as he is, missed it
as well, although he was almost there.
Have you ever imagine what was going on in the depth of Dr Jiang’s heart when he was treating
the wounded? Remember, he is not an ordinary doctor, but an army doctor. It was HIS army,
the PEOPLE’S army, that had fired into the people! Can you imagine the tremendous disillusion,
disappointment, indignation and agony that must have been surging in his heart? I just tried to
convey this message in my poem. Apparently, I have failed:((
I am going to write an article to deal with this point in a more general point of view. It seems that
I can never get rid of the damn web so as to embark on a new career (sigh with all my heart).
