Arabic-to-English translation:

“The sharia court of Al Nusra Front in the eastern region of Dair Alzour has ruled that it will execute these apostate soldiers because of the massacres they perpetrated against our brothers and people in Syria.”

The rebel Al Nusra Front is closely aligned with Al Qaeda. The sharia court declaration seems to indicate that the eleven executed were Alawite.

As an aside, the rebel commander doing the shooting was himself killed during fighting in March.
