he said it clearly, because he loves his family, as we all do. He suffered a lot because he is seperated from his wife and chikdren(how this guy got more than one children?) This is a weak point for him. Staying in jail in beyond his capability

It didn't take long for the communist regime knew get to know itl. They played it well to torment him. Obviously he was not physically abused. He was psychologically abused. The regime made him to make lot of promises by let him connected with his family.
