The Dalai Lama renewed his call for "meaningful" autonomy for Tibet within China and said China, "whether intentionally or unintentionally," is carrying out "cultural genocide" in Tibet.

What, exactly, is 'cultural genocide' ? ( guess 'revolution' is no longer a trendy buzz word...)
And what about another NPR news here: "Emerging from the Shadow of Polygamy"
Authorities in Texas removed more than 400 youngsters from a Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints compound last week. Now, the children who once lived in near isolation must transition to mainstream society.
Some concerned that State has no right to take 400 youngsters away from their parents and from the religious isolation these 400 youngsters are subject to...

To me such peculiar parallel between these two seemingly disparate News, and between LDS vs. Dalai Lama's religious movement are quite profound.
I would like to tell my high tale: US, 'whether intentionally or unintentionally,' is carrying out 'cultural genocide' in Western Texas, for better or for worse !
