乙(退伍军人,教育学专业博士,退休教师):I am surprised that Mr. Deng admitted to the party using propaganda to serve themselves. Everyone knows it goes on, but openly admitted and to appear to flaunt the fact of fooling people seems a little out of character from Deng. But the event did serve its purpose and lend some credibility to the cause. The Red Army was called an army but you understand what it really was. The Army needed propaganda as much as the public.
