i've been following the debate on 'should Intelligent Design be added as an alternative theory on par with evolutionary theory in public schools'. Now the battle has expanded into higher grounds with more cryptic debating focal points such as 'the origin of biological information and the higher taxonomic categories' by Stephen Meyer published in Proceedings of the Biological Society of Washington.

NPR did a story on this controversial http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=5007508.
Richard Sternberg, editor who published Meyer's paper is being 'persecuted' and excommunicated by the Smithsonian Institution.

I always firmly believed that monkeys and dogs have no chance to become man for another billion trillion years not because they don't have human brains in their skull but because their brainies have no capacity for contemplating any being higher than themselves. In that sense, a lot of contemporary man hasn't climbed evolutionary ladder further than many beasts. And if we think of 'the origin of man' under such abstraction, 'GOD' created man makes perfect sense.

Then we have to consider 'the Son' and 'the holy ghost'. What sort of construction are the Trinity, original sins etc.

(to be continued)
