1. 牧师:
*每个月1500位牧师离开神职服侍,原因:
a) 道德失败
b) 灵命耗竭
b) 教会分争
*每年有 4000 个教会开张, 7000个以上教会关闭
*50% 牧师的婚姻以离婚告终
*84% 的牧师/配偶感到沮丧
*50% 的牧师离开神职....因为无法谋生
*80% 的神学院/圣经学校毕业生在毕业后5年内离开神职。
*85% 牧师讨厌并厌倦于处理人的问题。
2. 牧师的妻子:
*80%牧师太太感受他们的配偶超负荷工作
*多数被调查的牧师太太表示对牧师的婚姻/家庭最具有破坏性的事件..发生在牧师开始神职服侍的那天。
3. 牧师婚姻:
*70% 牧师经常在忧郁症中挣扎
*40% 牧师在开始神职服侍后有婚外恋
4. 牧师的孩子:
* 80% 牧师的成年孩子寻找过忧郁症的专业救助
5.牧师与主的关系:
* 70% 牧师没有一个亲密朋友或辅导员
*90%牧师通常不与他们的配偶一起祷告
*80% 牧师每天花在祷告的时间少于15 分钟
*70% 牧师只在准备 布道时研读神的话语

ARE THE STATS ACCURATE???
PASTORS:
1500 LEAVE THE MINSTRY EACH MONTH
a)moral failure
b)spiritual burnout(???) [I BELIEVE THIS IS CRITICAL]
c)contentions in their churches
4000 churches begin each year, 7000+ churches close each year
50% marriages end in divorce
84% pastors/spouses feel discouraged
50% would leave ministry….no way of making a living
80% seminary/bible school graduate leave ministry within
first 5 years.
85% sick and tired of dealing with problem people.
PASTOR’S WIVES:
80% feel their spouse is overworked
MAJORITY surveyed said that the most destructive event that
Occurred in their marriage/family..the day they entered
Ministry.
PASTORS MARRIAGES:
70% Pastors constantly fight depression [Major point!!!]
40% had an extra-marital affair since beginning their ministry
PASTORS CHILDREN;
80% of adult children have sought professional help for
depression
PASTORS RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LORD;
70% do not have a close friend, mentor
90% do not regularly pray with their spouses
80% spend less then 15 minutes a day in prayer
70% only time spent studying the Word is when preparing
sermons
