这一段，新出的《毛泽东文集》中，对各句顺序作了微妙的调整，其文如下：
中国迫切的任务是收复所有失地，而不仅仅是保卫我在长城以南
的主权。这就是说，东北必须收复。这一点同样适用于台湾。至
于内蒙，那是汉族与蒙族人民共同居住的地区，我们要努力把日
本从内蒙赶出去，帮助内蒙建立自治。当我们光复中国的失地之
后，如果朝鲜人民希望挣脱日本帝国主义枷锁，我们将对他们的
独立斗争提供热情的援助。(《毛泽东文集》第一卷第403页)
与斯诺当年采访记录的文字相比，上段大有篡改嫌疑。查斯诺原文是：
It is the immediate task of China to regain all our lost
territories, not merely to defend our sovereignty below
the Great Wall. This means that Manchuria must be regained.
We do not, however, include Korea, formerly a Chinese colony,
but when we have re-established the independence of the lost
territories of China, and if the Korean want to break away
from the chains of Japanese imperialism, we will extend our
enthusiastic help in their struggle for independence. The
same thing applies for Formosa. As for Inner Mongolia, which
is populated by both Chinese and Mongolians, we will struggle
to drive Japan from there and help Inner Mongolia to establish
