毛泽东 is now listed as one of the 3,500 Queer Lives (Bisexual,
Gay, Lesbian, etc.), and his number is #2,039. The list quotes
one passage from his former physician's book, The Private Life
of Chairman Mao, detailing 毛泽东's homosexual activity with his
handsome young male guards:
"Mao's sexual activity was not confined to women. The young
males who served as his attendants were invariably handsome and
strong, and one of their responsibilities was to administer a
nightly massage as an additional aid to sleep. Mao insisted that
his groin be massaged, too, a practice I became aware of only in
1960, when one of his guards refused to oblige him. 'This is a job
for a woman, not me,' he told me just before he left. Later, in
1964, I witnessed a similar incident on Mao's train. As his guard
was preparing him for sleep, Mao grabbed the young man and began
fondling him, trying to pull the man into bed with him."

The background information (please do not mind that the 十五六岁的
漂亮男卫士们 were underage children who should have been in the
middle schools to receive their education, and please do not mind
that the service to 毛泽东 of 端饭、按摩、擦澡、灌肠, etc. offered
by those boys was child labor):
这种“准性服务”的历史我不太清楚，当我看到权延赤编写的《红墙内外》，
才知道至少在建国以后，开此风气之先的还是毛泽东。
毛泽东当时只喜欢十五六岁的勤务兵给他服务，年纪大一点了就调走。其中他
曾经最宠爱的一个，是黑龙江双城县十六岁漂亮小伙田云玉。他本人回忆道：
“他（毛泽东）只喜欢小鬼。无论按摩、擦澡还是灌肠，叫小鬼帮忙他心里不
感觉别扭。
“他的睡眠起居都是由卫士负责，若卫士年纪大了，他身边的有些事就不好意
思让卫士干。
“端饭、擦澡一看就会，按摩就要学习了。毛泽东夏天盖一条单子或盖一条毛
巾被，冬天要盖三条毛巾被。我到他身边时，他是盖两条毛巾被。按摩时将手伸
入毛巾被，主要是按摩两腿。手贴紧，五指张开，用手掌心的握力促进血液流
通。以此为主，配合揉、搓、按、捏、拿等等手法，一般都是从脚到大腿根的顺
序，循环往复。
“真正难学，使我下了番功夫的是灌肠。毛泽东有习惯性便秘。可是他消化吸
收能力大强，常几天不大便。大便时量也很少。听老同志讲，长征时毛泽东经常
一星期才大便一次，到了延安也是如此。我到毛泽东身边的前几年，他一直灌
肠，直到大跃进前后，灌肠数次才降下来。
“我第一次独立值正班时，工作很顺利。特别是灌肠，一次便将连接胶皮管子
的木塞送到位置。”
我并不试图研究这里有没有“同性恋倾向”或嫌疑，只是说靠他人肉体得到温
暖和舒服，不一定是“性服务”，但可以说是“准性服务”。
