I have just read Jiu Jie's remarks. Once again, his approach is typical: I am insulting Ma's fans because I have questioned Lao Ma's intelligence. Unfortunately, my little sis has forgotten that he is insulting my fans just as well, as he claims that I have earned my fame by sheer productivity. Moreover, my high productivity results from repetition.

Don't you think this is also an insult to my fans? Do you really believe they like something, simply because of the sheer amounts of words or worse still, repetition of words? Even Lao Ma admits that I have more fans than he does. I am afraid that you are insulting a much greater mass, dear sis. Besides, can you substantiate your accusation and show the audience how I repeated myself, please?

You should have used facts, rather than the commies' tactic of "united front", to refute me, dear Sis. But how could I expect you to be otherwise? It is simply impossible for you to learn the least decency. I have been aware of this all along.

Actually, Lao Ma is the man who is most fond of repeating himself. For example, he repeated his estimate on the Chinese casualty in at least 7-8 articles. Had it not been for my mockery, he might well have been repeating his great discovery even until today.

Furthermore, recently, Lao Ma has suddenly fallen in love with the phrase "Renaissance". He has been bragging repeatedly about his "post-Renaissance way of thinking" in almost every piece written lately, only because I have pointed out in "China Needs the 'Pain in the Bottom'" that adhering to the truths rather than to virtues has become the tradition of the Western civilization since the Renaissance.

Are these facts or not, my dear sis?

Now let us examine the following statement:

"Put it simply, Lao Ma stuns the public with his incredible idiocy

where I shock people by telling the most embarrassing truth,

such as the Chinese is no doubt a nation that is really stupid,

not just ordinarily stupid, but outstandingly stupid."

As far as I know, Lao Ma has twice stunned the public most successfully, first time with his great theory of "rape is also love-making" and second time with the mock "June 4th court". Each time, he stunned the public with nothing other than his incredible idiocy.

There seems no need to point out the idiocy behind "rape is also love-making". With regard to the second stun, Lao Ma was equally idiotic. He has made so many follies that I (or any other person for that matter) simply cannot remember. In one word, he made himself a laughing stock in Dajia Forum and everyone there had a good laugh. Suffices it to name just one conclusion of his:

"Doing anything the law does not specify its feasibility is violating the law".

I still remember Zhang San Yi Yan's refutation:

"The law does not say you can breath, therefore, you are breaking the law while you are breathing."

Are these words or actions incredible idiocy, my lovely sis?

So why are Lao Ma's articles liked by some readers? The answer is dead simple: because they were amusing!

In an article, I compared Lao Ma's works to Xue Pan's poem "the girl is happy when something enters her". As readers have been so fed up with those "elegant poems" by Daiyu, Baoyu, etc, they are bound to like Xue Pan's vulgar yet shocking sentence. For the same reason, any person fed up with official or non-official propaganda is bound to like Lao Ma's mumbo-jumbos, because it reads bizarre, absurd, and yet amusing.

That's is another difference between Lao Ma and me. I inspire readers and broaden their horizons whilst Lao Ma stuns and amuses them. Whatever they might say, deep down, they treat Lao as they treat Xue Pan. Nobody except me, his "academic brother", takes him seriously. Yet, he complained that I did not respect him enough! His idiocy is really unbeatable, alas.
