Is Circumcision (割包皮) inhuman?
For variety of reasons, about 60% of newborn babies have the circumcision done in the US alone. Because of the known risks of giving babies anesthesia, all kinds of surgeries are performed on conscious babies. Today, it is understood that a newborn baby does feel pain and is traumatized by undergoing surgery without anesthesia.
A newborn is deprived of freedom and in pain. I, for one, am strongly against this inhuman practice.
