My theory is that appropriate amount of bantering is
needed among friends. Not only does it help to alleviate
the otherwise unbearable pressures of the daily life, but
it serves to form bonds among friends.
Besides, I don’t think a regular guy could survive the day
if he had to keep a straight face after the manner of an
old-fashioned gentleman 24 x 7.
Therefore, excessive apologies are not needed.
I got fired a number of times in the past. Not any more,
‘cause I stopped working for others.
