They can take it, but they don't need to like it. They are very clear on this by saying "导读文章是由斑竹自行选取的".
As I said, they are very good already. Don't be too picky. Don't always feel everybody is unfair to you (or people on your side  ).
Also, "海纳百川" is just what they say. You can judge that according to your own standard. You have your choice of trying other places if you don't believe that or you don't like here, just as you have your choice to watch CNN, FoxNews or CNBC , or CCTV, if you are in the right place.
