one bought a single house, 100k two year ago, she go there a couple of times each year, for vocation, the only good thing is that she claims to live there, and avoid paying state taxes here
another one is a scam, he bought a suite in a building, also 100k, several years ago, and the property management company is supposed to rent the suite for him, and he could collect rent, as a matter of fact, he never got any rent, he is still paying high condo fees each month,
my story in FL was also a joke. i bought a time share.
my advice to those who want to buy houses in FL, you got to live there. i like florida.
