The meeting of like-minds today ended with buffet-stuffed stomach, a good ending according to the usual Chinese customary.
I had the pleasure of meeting many literature/history/politics readers/writers/speakers, mostly from Taiwan and over 50. I gave 赵无眠 a copy of 'The Book of Jade' and wrote down hjclub.com for him. I wish many of us here, including myself, can afford a sabatical leave and come back with not just good sense but good sense packaged with good humor towards non-sense.
Victor Liu sits next to me who handed me his business card: Board director of 'New Jersey Alliance for Learning & Preserving The History of WWII in Asia". I sold him this idea of mine: 'one for all and all for one' spherical go conjecture. He appears to be very excited on the possibility of solving computational go problem.
Then i read these lines on a brand new T-shirt: I don't have drinking problem. I drink. I get drunk. I fall down. No problem.
What _is_ the problem of computational go game? How to define it? What language do we have to describe it? My own theory is that the four go schools in Edo Japan and their prestigous reverence among intellects as well as commoners was the anti-viral cultural resistence that preserve the nationality of Japan from being taken over by cancerous western powers with the advent of modern industrial revolution.
