Dr. Griebe was born in Albany, Georgia in l953 and spent her childhood on the shaded grounds of a large pecan
plantation. As the oldest daughter in a family of ten she accepted the responsibility for her role in the family and
learned quickly that organizational strategies and a sound knowledge of how to get things done expedited work.
With chores completed, summer afternoons were spent day dreaming, riding horseback and spending time with
friends. She deduced from these experiences that accomplishing one's objectives meant freedom, the ability to
pursue other interest, and opportunity to develop independence.
Throughout adulthood she has applied those values to family, business, and educational pursuits. Her independent
nature has served her well in her pursuit of higher education, as an entrepreneur, consultant, writer, and publisher.
Her drive for helping others coupled with the skills and expertise she has developed, has made her a valuable
resource for her family, friends, community and clients. Her down to earth philosophical nature promotes
confidence and enhances her ability to communicate solutions to complex issues and to facilitate discussions
involving theoretical topics.
Now, twenty years after the initiation of her first business, Dr. Griebe is an accomplished professional in the field of
management theory and related sciences. After many years of balancing career, education and work, she now
holds a PhD from Barrington University, is the developer of the latest management technology available and is the
author of several publications and two books. The Theory of Missions?, written in l994 provides the philosophical
and theoretical basis of her new book ZEN and Applications of MISSION DESIGN.
